A sudden fire has erupted in a vehicle decorations and carpet manufacturing factory in Pannala police division yesterday.

Sudden fire in factory in Pannala

A sudden fire has erupted in a vehicle decorations and carpet manufacturing factory in Pannala police division yesterday. Police have successfully doused the fire with assistance of Fire Brigade of Kurunegala Municipal Council and residents of the area, Police Media Unit told Ceylon Today Online.

The entire factory has been destroyed in the fire and no casualties were reported.

Pannala Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
